How is it October tomorrow already? September has gone so fast! But I’m super excited for Autumn to be in full swing, it’s my favourite season!
But before we start preparing for Halloween and celebrating all things October here are my favourite products of this month…
Lacura Healthy Glow Toner
Okay so this is Aldi’s version of Pixi Glow Toner, judge away but I love a good bargain! When Aldi announced they were going to do their own version I knew I had to give it a try. And honestly there isn’t much difference between it and the real deal. It smells amazing and leaves my skin feeling amazing. I could even go as far as saying it’s ‘glowing’! This is my new day toner.
Aussie Miracle Oil
Admittedly I don’t need this as much as I used to when I had long hair, getting a brush through my hair without oil and a load of spray in conditioner was literally impossible! But I’ve been using this after straightening (or curling – which I’m still getting the hang of…) my hair to stop it flicking out at the ends, something I learnt the hard way having it sat on my shoulders… and it really works! It also helps with any fly always and frizz, I only use one pump so it goes really far and as per all Aussie products smells amazing!
Bang Beauty Brow Cream
Can I just say… Wow! This stuff is amazing! I received it in this months GLOSSYBOX and it’s about on par with Benefit’s ‘Gimme Brow Volumizing Eyebrow Gel’ which is my all time favourite product for my brows. This Brow Cream comes with its own little brush and is so easy to apply and stays really well throughout the day, even better it came in a shade pretty close to my own. I can’t recommend this stuff enough.
Ps… Matte Liquid Lipstick & Lip Liner
Again with the bargains! I really like some of Primark’s beauty products, I’m also a massive lover of liquid matte (Huda Beauty’s being my all time favourite, with Wifey being my go to nude.) But this stuff drys super quick and leaves no sticky or tacky feeling, it also lasts all day! Even through the considerable amount of tea I drink at work… I haven’t had to re-apply it once.
Lacura Pink Clay Mask
Now I have to admit I have only used this once as I only got it this week and it instructs 2-3 times a week (I’m a stickler for abiding by the instructions on the box.) But with the cute little brush it comes with its super easy to apply and mess free. It drys quite quickly, leaving you unable to move your face – which my mum found hilarious, but you can actually see it working on your pours. Comes off easily with warm water and a flannel, I have to admit I did have to apply some moisturiser as it left my skin soft but feeling a bit dry after something that happens with most face masks I use. But apart from that I’m really pleased with this mask!
